I believe in the Law of Attraction.
I believe that where your attention goes, your energy flows.
And I believe that visioning and manifestation are how we create the life we truly want.
As we continue navigating uncertain times, I can’t stress enough the importance of cultivating peace and serenity within your home.
We are spiritual beings having a human experience — constantly growing and evolving. Shouldn’t our homes evolve with us? You aren’t the same person you were five or ten years ago, so why should your surroundings stay the same?
You don’t have to renovate to feel renewed. Sometimes it’s as simple as decluttering, rearranging, or refreshing what already exists. Remove the old to make room for what’s next.
It’s time for a shift — in our spaces, our energy, and our state of mind.
FIVE SIMPLE SHIFTS TO CHANGE THE VIBE AND
CREATE POSITIVE ENERGY IN YOUR SPACE:
ONE: CHOOSE A CALMING COLOR PALETTE

A fresh coat of paint can completely transform the mood of a room. For your sacred space, choose hues that soothe rather than stimulate.
Soft tones like blush, muted gray, off-white, or deep blue promote calm and clarity. To create a “jewel-box” feeling, paint the ceiling the same color as the walls — or, for a touch of drama, try a subtle metallic wallpaper that reflects the light beautifully.
TWO: TURN DOWN THE LIGHTS

Lighting is one of the most powerful design tools we have — it shapes emotion as much as it illuminates space.
During the day, open your blinds and let the natural light pour in. At night, switch to warm incandescent or dimmable bulbs to soften the atmosphere. A beautiful lamp on a console or nightstand can instantly shift a room’s mood.
And remember: powering down electronics at least an hour before bedtime helps your mind and body reset.
THREE: BUY A BOUQUET

Fresh flowers instantly lift the spirit and invite beauty into your day. Their scent alone can alter mood and energy.
My go-to favorites? Lilies (any variety), hydrangeas, tulips, and gladiolus — each timeless and elegant. Pro tip: use hot water when arranging hydrangeas to help them last longer.
FOUR: LIGHT A FLAME

Candles are more than ambiance — they’re intention.
A flickering flame draws you into focus, grounding you in the moment. I use them not only for romance or celebration, but for self-connection and reflection.
A few favorites: Bamboo by NEST for a clean, uplifting scent; and the Harlem Candle Co. collection, inspired by icons like Josephine Baker and Duke Ellington — rich, soulful, and unforgettable.
FIVE: PUMP UP THE VOLUME

Music has the power to realign your energy instantly. Whether it’s jazz, R&B, classical, or a favorite playlist, let sound feed your soul.
If you have a turntable, dust it off. There’s something grounding about placing a record and hearing that first soft crackle. Display your audio setup proudly — a sleek console or vintage cabinet can blend function and nostalgia beautifully.
Be open.
Be daring.
Be in a space of allowing — and watch the energy flow.
Other things to add to your space to create more of a relaxing retreat…
Layer your home with personal meaning: plush pillows, soft throws, art that inspires, photos that remind you of love, and objects that tell your story. Your home should feel like a reflection of your inner peace — not just a place you live, but a space that lives with you.
